Appointment for TTC #2 is set---feeling negative.

My appointment is on Friday. From the sounds of it, they'll be doing bloodwork and pretty much giving me the same routine as they did with my son. Clomid on cd 5-9, go in on cd 12 to check on the follies, get Ovidrel shot when they are mature and go from there. The difference between now and last time is that I won't be on Metformin or Dexamethasone, both of which I took daily in order to control my PCOS symptoms. According to my doc, my horomones look "normal" so she doesn't think they are necessary to take.

I don't know why but I'm feeling really really pessimistic about this first cycle. Seriously, what are the chances of it working on the first cycle TWICE? Yep, zero to none.

Anyway, send me your AF vibes so that I can start Clomid and get this show on the road.

Let the crappy IF journey and obsession begin...

(PS, I'm sure I don't have to say this but nothing on FB. I'm very very private when it comes to this stuff with friends & family.)

    I was very pessimistic about my first cycle ttc #2 as well.. so I understand what you are saying. I wish you the best of luck! Hopefully you journey ttc #2 is a short one :-)

    GL to you.  I actually had some hope that my first cycle would work of course it didn't and we moved on to IVF a few months later. BLAH.  Ill be praying your first cycle is a success! =))

    I hated going back to the RE to try for #2.  Just being in the office made me feel really bummed out.  We went back to the same old routine and did 1 round of meds and what turned out to be an unsuccessful IUI.  Then we decided we need to wait a little while because of money before we went through it again (took 5 tries for DD) and ended up getting pg on our the very next cycle.  I was shocked.  There's hope and once you are pg, you'll forget about all the negative stuff. GL!
