I woke up this morning to a package outside (exciting right?)... When I opened it it was 3 "Big Brother" shirts and a congratulations card from DH's aunt and uncle who obviously didn't get the memo that we lost the baby over a month ago (and who shouldn't have even know we were expecting to begin with). What a frickin slap in the face! I was feeling OK about waiting until Aug/Sept but this just made me so sad and angry. Just another reason nobody will know we are doing IVF or that it worked until after NT scan next time.

I asked FIL to let them know we appreciated it and let them know as I don't want to sound ungrateful.  I know it was a nice thought, they are the nicest people but it stung! At least they are big enough that hopefully DS can sport them this winter if all works out.

    Oh my goodness... I am so sorry. Even though they did it out of the kindness of their hearts it doesn't make it hurt any less. I am sending big hugs and a stiff drink your way...

    Oh, that stinks.  I'm so sorry you had to open that (and that who ever spilled the news to them initially didn't think to update them.)  ((HUGS))
