weekend family getaways

in Dallas-Fort Worth Babies

We are thinking of taking a short getaway (1-2 nights) in a few weeks.  We live in the DFW area and don't mind a bit of a drive.  Do you have a favorite spot to go that has good activities and fun places to see with a toddler?  I would love to hear your ideas for a mini-vacation.

    We are leaving for San Antonio in a few hours, we are going to take LO to sea world tomorrow, I will let you know how it goes.  This is kind of our test run for our big vacation the end of next month.

    Turner Falls in Oklahoma is fun. I went for a retreat with a college group, but I think it would be fun for families.

    Thanks ladies!  Let me know how the trip to SA goes...that was somewhere that we had considered as well.

    We drive through the Turner Falls area when we go north to visit my family...I'm glad to know it is also a fun place.  We'll have to look more into that! Thanks.
