I'm sick...what can I take?

i'm still bf-ing. i have a dry cough, body aches and a stuffy nose. what is safe for me to take? tia!

    Tylenol and Ibuprofen (or other NSAID) are fine.  From what I've heard, you should try to avoid cold medicine.

    Hmm, I was told not to do Ibuprofen, only acetaminaphen (tylenol) while breastfeeding. I can take extra strength but not maximum. Tylenol cold and flu is safe during pregnancy, so I'd assume it would also be fine while BF'ing. Sorry you feel sick, OP! You might want to look at anything by Boiron, a homeopathic company. They have something called occinolocum or something like that, and it's the shiz. It works so fast, it's unbelievable.
