OMG, DD let herself into a neighbour's house to play.

I am so embarrassed! The parent didn't say anything to me, but the kid did.

Apparently I never told her not to do that. Five year old =/= common sense I guess. (although the other kid obviously knew it wasn't appropriate or he wouldn't have told me).

    I can't tell you how many times I've had to explain the obvious to my kids lately.  I feel like it's really bad at 5 y/o.

    My kids were bringing the neighborhood kids into our house. I would walk into a room and wonder where all these kids came from. The bad part is that their parents had no idea where they were. We had to have a bit of a talk about going into houses and bringing people home too,

    I wouldn't worry about it.  My neighbors 6 year old was at my house for a half an hour today.  Normally, he will come over, then she will come after a few minutes.  When she didn't show after a while, I called her.  She didn't even know he was outside.  She thought he was playing in his room.

    Are we neighbors? Our 6yo neighbor let herself in earlier this week! No big deal, I picture DD doing the same in a couple years!
