Hi ladies! I am going to visit a friend w/ a 2 wk old and am trying to think of a meal to bring her that is easy to heat/reheat? I've made her a lasagna but can't think of another idea...suggestions?
Also wanted to throw out: I remember when I had a newborn that dinners weren't so much of a problem as breakfast/lunch when I was by myself and hubby was at work. I think I lived off english muffins because they were easy. So you could also do a basket of breakfast items (muffins, juices, brunch type things) or do lunch items. When my sister had her twins I brought over a crockpot pot roast with potatoes and veggies, and a big hoagie sandwich that they could hack off pieces of to eat along with a zesty pasta salad. Easy and filling. I'm sure your friend will appreciate whatever you do.

ooh very smart idea. muffins or granola bars or something that you can eat one handed especially. Hell even a box or two of hot pockets.

Turkey (or chicken) tetrazinni is easy too. Here's a recipe that looks pretty close to what I've made before: https://momscookbook.wikidot.com/smoked-turkey-tetrazzini
