Birthday gift ideas

I'm going to a last minute birthday party for a friend. I want to get her a little something but I'm drawing a blank and have no clue what she wants. Im looking for ideas, If it was your birthday what is something you would want? Under $50.

    Some nicely scented jar candels, cupcake shop gift card, body lotion/care items, gift cert to a place for a mani/pedi.  Good luck!  I hate last minute stuff!

    I always like to do the Philosophy gift sets for stuff like that.  They have a cute birthday girl one too.

    A Starbucks gift card in one of those cute plastic cups with straws?  Does she like to bake - what about the cupcake book or Bakerella's book on cakeballs with a cute apron?
