I don't have allergies, but my husband swears that his body gets used to the meds. I know of someone who rotates allergy meds every few months because of this problem.
I'm not sure about that med, but I do know that this year has been an exceptionally bad year for allergies in a lot of areas and a lot of people are finding that their normal meds are not working.

That could be it too. Rain + freshly cut grass is never a good combination.
