NE Fertility vs. Reproductive Medicine Associate of CT

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with either or these two reproductive clinics?  I have a recommendation from a friend who referred me to Dr. Lavy at NE Fertility, but my OB/GYN is trying to steer me in the direction or RMACT.  I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with either.

 Thanks.

  • I went to RMA and was extremely pleased.  They are incredibly thorough, in fact, I pretty much was there about 2-3 times a week for a month or two (they have "morning monitoring" between 7-8 am if you work).  They found two small problems with me (borderline high FSH and polyps) and after the work up (and removal of polyps) they put me on injectibles (Bravelle) and we did an IUI.  Well, first try and it worked!

We saw Dr. Leondires, who I liked.  They also have many free seminars and "fertile yoga" if you are interested.  I also worked with their nutritionist - who they were able to bill for through my insurance.

I haven't heard anything about NE Fertility, but can definitely recommend RMA.

    Good luck!

  • preggyamy...that's great feedback.  I read a lot of great reviews of RMA. Great to know they have morning monitoring hours since i work and being able to get to all the appointments is a concern. Thanks for the info!
  • Dr. Leondires at RMACT is the best. I did nto have trouble getting pregnant, but staying pregnant. They were extremely thorough and noticed my issue right away. You will be there at least once a week for bloodwork, but his staff is amazing....
  • I went to RMA and worked with Dr. Richlin. I went through 2 IVF procedures and both were successful, although I lost my first pregnancy at 6 months due to an incompetent cervix. It had nothing to do with RMA, they release you at 10 weeks. When I had to return for another IVF cycle they were over the top kind to me and I felt at ease during the extremely emotional time. The nurses are wonderful and all the doctors are great! They were very thorough, and found polyps in my uterus both times. The cross their t's and dot their i's!  They offer yoga, nutrition classes, fertility classes, etc. They really provide you with all the resources you need to get through infertility. I highly recommend them!! A++

Another RMA patient here.  I have nothing but good things to say!  Took a few different things to get me pregnant, but I am now 11+ weeks.  I've never heard of the other clinic you mentioned.  (FYI I've never heard of  clinic that doesn't have morning monitoring--they need the blood back by lunchtime so they can adjust your evening meds if necessary.)
