So, I officially have done the stupidest thing possible.
I wash my diapers on a small, hot load and I forgot to reset the washer to a large, cold load.
I do one load of laundry a day (other than diapers), so it is always mixed (colours, whites, darks) but because of the cold water, I've never had a problem with bleeding. Now all my little boy's nice white background sleepers have a pink background and one of his little pairs of overalls has a big brown spot on it.
I've been looking at remedies online but wanted to know if anyone here has ever had anything work to undo bleeding- preferably something that won't irritate my little boy's skin.
Any ideas? I've tried oxyclean and am trying borax right now.
Re: NBR Laundry Help (Don't laugh at me too hard)
I always have luck if I soak something in cold water with oxyclean for a day and then rewash it
Usually if you do it quick enough the color will come out of it.
I would try adding a cup of bleach to the water. You might risk ruining the clothes, but if you dont think you'll put him in pink, then it's worth the risk.
