Success after IF

Amazon Subscribe and Save

a)  I'm mortified that I've been not paying attention and/ or living under a rock, and haven't really noticed this program prior to, um, yesterday.

b)  Is it really the cheapest around?

c)  Are you happy with the service/ program?

d)  Anyone use it for things other than diapers?

Re: Amazon Subscribe and Save

  • It's the cheapest I've found.  I think this month it was $30 for 156 Pampers Swaddlers.  It is also free shipping which is awesome - and since you get enrolled in Amazon Prime you get free shipping on most things from Amazon which is nice too.

I'm happy with it although you have to make sure you remember to go in and change it if you need a different size or something but that's not really that hard since they send out a reminder e-mail.

I haven't used it for anything other than diapers.  I'd be interested in hearing what other people say on that though.

  • LOVE THIS!  it is the cheapest I have found, and if you only want to use it once, you can cancel anytime!  I buy diapers and wipes from it.  I looked into formula, but what i needed wasn't available.

I am interested in seeing if anyone else has found good deals on other items too!

  • I like it.  My husband is the diaper buyer so he manages it.

As far as I can tell it's the cheapest way to buy diapers.  I know I've checked pampers at BJ's and they are more even with a coupon.

I know we put all baby related things on there that we can i.e. baby wipes, medela quick clean wipes, lansinoh bm storage bags.  If we don't need them regularly then we order and remove so we don't get them again until we are ready.

You may want to check again for your formula.  2 weeks ago the medela quick clean wipes were not available and the other day they were and Prime to boot! $1.50 cheaper than my Target but the same price as BuyBuyBaby (but that is 15 miles away).

  • Love it! Best deal I can find. I'm getting pampers baby dry diapers for .12 cents each. I ordered diapers Wednesday morning and they were on my doorstep by Thursday afternoon! ETA: I also buy Vaseline for his bottom and lansinoh BM bags. Good prices, too!

  • I saw a couple of food items that we buy in bulk anyway that seemed to be priced competitively. . . these packs of freeze-dried fruit that DS likes, for example. . .
  • I love it - so convenient and inexpensive.  And even if adding up coupons could potentially save me an extra dollar, the time saved with this is well worth the difference.

They just changed their delivery policy but it usually still only takes 2 days for me to get my order.

Right now, we just use it for diapers, wipes and pull-ups but I am not opposed to using it for anything else.  If I took the time to look around I could probably find other items that would be worth it.

It is super easy to skip/postpone shipments, have one sent early (like I did today because DD has been pooping non-stop!), cancel/change items.

    I highly recommend it.

we are long time prime users and use subscribe and save a lot too

We don't do diapers very often since we only use disposables at night but we always get them through there.  Maybe one box every 3 months or so.

We do our toilet paper, laundry detergent, kleenex and some other stuff too.  Very affordable!

  • I LOVE it, I cannot beleive I did not do this sooner. It's so great not to have to worry about going out and buying diapers.

I think it's the cheapest- I get 140 diapers for $33- at Sam's Club they are like $40 for the case, and the fact that I don't have to go get them that's invaluable! For my husbands razors it's a huge savings- its $22 for a pack of 8- to buy 4 at Target they are $17- so that's a big savings.

I get my husband razors, toliet paper, wipes, and paper towels all delivered through the subscribe and save program.

  • This is the cheapest I've found diapers.  I got Pampers Swaddlers size 3 for $0.18 per diaper, and our Target store (& Babies R Us) sells them for about $0.26 per diaper.  It's even cheaper than if I have coupons.  We also use Subscribe and Save for our wipes, nothing else yet.  I am going to look into it though.  I plan on comparing prices on home basics like TP, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc and seeing how it compares.  So far I love the service!

We just switched from cloth diapers and because I'm still having so much guilt about using sposies, we are opting for one of the fancy eco-friendly(ish) varieties (Earth's Best).  With SNS, we are paying around $0.22 a diaper, which is less than half of what I'd pay in the market and about 45% off the price for a discount bulk pack at Target.  That price is just a few pennies more than we'd pay for Target Up&Up.  And they get delivered!  Their price on Huggies Overnights are amazing too - again, it's like a 50% discount over what I'd pay in the market or even Target, and it's not like those are stocked at Costco.

But you know about the price differential already so I'm just gushing :)  Haven't used SNS for anything else, but I'll be keeping an eye out for opportunities to do so.

  • LOVE it! We buy regular dipes, overnight dipes and pamper's sensitve wipes. I have been thinking about adding Earth's Best Smoothies to my subscription because E loves them and they are way, way, way cheaper than at the grocery store or BRU.

Not only is it affordable, but the Amazon Prime benefits are great and the best part for me is that is keeps me out of Target on a weekly basis and that has been a HUGE savings.

the earth's best smoothies were just on sale on amazon, so I subscribed and got a box :)  love those things!
  • We LOVE it too. We get diapers, wipes, kid snacks, my work snacks (granola bars, etc) coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.   Basically anything you'd stock up at SAMs club, etc without having to 'stock up' since you can get 1 pack a month or whatever.
