I know they say stretch marks are genetic, but I guess it cant hurt to use a cream.What kind of Belly Cream are you using? How do you like it and when did you start using it?

I think the expensive creams are a scam. I used gold bond ultra healing (or something like that) in a giant pump bottle. It lasted my whole pregnancy and then some. And no stretch marks (not that it made a difference but it did feel good to put it on every day). I started using it when I first started showing (and will start using it again in a few weeks here).

Im using the Palmer's Tummy Butter twice a day. It's pretty greasy but I feel like it keeps me very moisturized. I started using it when I felt like I started growing.

I've been using the Body Shops Olive Body Butter. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I like the way it feels.

My friend bought me this Yes To Carrots shea butter used for strech marks. I've been using it. I have no idea whether it will work, but it is very rich.

That stuff is amazing. I have problems w/ dry feet, and that works 10x better than any of the expensive stuff I tried.

Also - my mom said she got stretch marks on her a$$ which really freaked me out so I've been putting it there too.

I bought Palmers cocoa butter stretch mark cream which I have been using.
But - a good friend just bought me a pot of Mama Mio and I have to say it is lovely... Some people swear by it, but its $$$ so I'm not sure if I'll continue once this pot runs out.

i was a sucker and bought some expensive stuff when i was super sick and wanted to pamper myself. but i don't really use it.

i just use lubriderm on my belly every day after i shower. i figure, i know i'm going to get stretch marks b/c i already have them from puberty and my mom has them, but the lotion at least helps to relieve my itchy belly!

I just use Johnson's Baby Lotion. I put it on all over after a shower as a routine and have done it for years. I didn't have any issue with itchiness so i just kept using the same lotion I always have. No stretchmarks so far, thank goodness! Although my mom didn't get them either.

I'm using the body shop cocoa butter stick. I love it because it is like a roll on so your hands don't get all sticky. I got stretch marks from my childhood growth spurts on my thighs. So I know I'm prone to them. So if I get no stretch marks on my tummy I'll know that it was the cocoa butter and not genetics.
