Re: Payless baby shoes?

  • I don't know aboout payless shoes, but we got some Robeez. I have a couple pair, but DD rarely wears shoes. I like them for when she does though.

  • Not so sure about pre-walkers, but actually Payless has GREAT shoes for established walkers! The "SmartFit" shoes are the good ones. (They are in a bright yellow shoe box.) They are actually better than many expensive brands. I remember that someone on this board (can't remember who now, sorry) was told by their child's podiatrist that the SmartFit shoes were the best, with Stride Rite a close second.
  • As long as your DD has regular width feet, they are great. Eliza was a double wide for the longest time and we could only go to specialty stores, but now that her foot slimmed down, I buy whatever is cute and cheap.

The SmartFit brand at Payless is made y Stride Rite

  • We love Payless shoes.  As a matter of fact, we are headed there this afternoon to do some shoe shopping.  They have a good selection of half sizes, which a lot of places don't have.
