Maternity Photos - Question

So I got a really good deal on Groupon for some maternity photos. Here's the photographer:

Here's my question -- when do you book? She gave me a date of the very end of August, but I will be 29 weeks by then. I already feel like I am a walking belly...and am afraid at 29 weeks I will look all National Geographic. When did you ladies schedule your session?

    I did mine at between 31-32 weeks.  I would say schedule yours for when you'll be comfortable with the way you look.  These are to capture your pregnancy, so if you don't want to wait until 29 weeks, ask the photog if she can move you forward a bit.

    I did mine at 33 weeks and wish I would have done it sooner only for the fact that by 33 weeks it was already hot and humid here and I was retaining water in my feet and ankles and felt very self concious which limited my outfit options :) 

    I'm not sure if my water retention is a function of me nearing the end of the pregnancy or the fact that is was 90 degrees on the day of our shoot.

    If I think back to how I felt at 29 weeks, it would have been a better time for me personally, but everyone is different.

    Mine are schedules for 32 weeks. However, it will be cooler then, so I (hopefully!) wont have to worry about being overheated and stuff.

    Your national geographic line made me giggle :)

    I am hoping friends of mine will offer to take them for me. They'll be in town from FL when I'm 27 weeks... I don't think I'd want to go much past that bc I'm feeling like my belly is getting bigger by the minute.

    Mine are scheduled for 33 weeks. It will be hot and humid here, but I asked for studio time only.

    As someone suggested - ask for a time when you feel most comfortable. 

    ? We can only appreciate the miracle of a sunrise if we have waited in the darkness... ?

    thanks for all of the suggestions :-) I went ahead and booked for 29 weeks. I'm very excited to have an appointment that will be all about happiness and celebrating!!
