Morning, ladies! Thanks for all the well wishes...I'm feeling much better this morning. Still kind of achy in the belly, but I'm thinking I'm just really growing right now. I drank a buttload of water, and was able to get the BH to stop. All last night though, LO was freaking. me. out. with her crazy movements. I swear she was trying to bust out of one side of my belly. One movement was so big and strong that I actually gasped really loudly and scared DH. I don't know if her dance party is related to what I was feeling, but she sure seems to be okay in there.
Thanks again!
Re: Update to T&P from last night
Nothing major. I was just having a lot of BH (more than I've ever had) and my belly was hurting all over. I didn't really know what was going on, but my midwife said to put my feet up and drink a ton of water. That seemed to help for the most part.
Violet, you're grounded! You're not coming out of that uterus until September!
Super glad everything worked out OK! Don't need any outside babies yet if we can avoid it!!
On another note - I've also noticed that LOs movements have been super strong and what I consider more 'alien like' lately lol. When I first got pregnant, DH and I were watching videos online of ladies who were 9 months and the weird movements their babies would make inside -- and actually visible on the outside (more than just a kick) but I never thought they would come this early!! This morning Jack was playing with DH -- everytime he would touch one spot, LO would rub his foot or stick his butt right out to where he had poked! haha! They will only get weirder/stronger from here haha
Yes--her movements last night were definitely more alien-like. I had never seen/felt anything like it. I kept asking her, "What are you DOING in there???"
That WOULD be scary! My midwife was just talking to me about this yesterday. I'm glad you and Violet are doing ok. I agree that she needs a time out.
Oh good.....
I guess since they are getting so much bigger now they are able to kick and punch much harder. Also, I suppose we feel the fluid moving in addition to them moving.
Same here! DH was feeling his movements last night and was like WTH is going on in there? It feels so weird, and the kicks are strong enough to take my breath away at times too. I read somewhere that weeks 27-32 are the most active, I guess we're in it!
Really glad you're feeling better and that it was nothing serious.
