Ipad or laptop?

I need a new computer. I am not sure if I should go the Ipad route or stick with a laptop.

I need to use publisher, excel, word, basically all of the microsoft office products, adobe etc...

I am leaning towards sticking with a laptop, thoughts?

Laptop. Or a netbook. I was sure that my next one would be the Ipad- I love my mom's so much. But I found myself getting frustrated with it at some point when I just wanted to type an email and the keyboard kept messing up. Also, I missed my mouse. My mom agreed- she loves having it on the kitchen counter for quick internet searches and when she travels for reading on the plane, but she says she really needs her "real" computer when she's doing anything more than that. For what its worth, I have thoroughly enjoyed my Dell Mini netbook. I'm running the full Office Professional on it. My only complaint was that I couldn't get Shutterfly to work right the other day but DH says he thinks he knows what to do to fix that. Anyway, if you need Office, I would definitely stick with a laptop.

Thanks ladies and Stacie I am going to look into the netbook good idea. I kind of want the iPad to have in the car while showing property and for travel etc..
