don't you wish you could make everyone use the bump?

I went and visited a friend with her less than 2 week old baby (so cute). She was doing a great job, but was stressed, not knowing what was normal and not. I told her that this is where I get most of my baby info, but of course I can't make her bump.

Also, if we could make everyone bump then it might reduce unsolicited rude comments in the grocery store.

It would make writing baby related emails and fb posts a lot easier if everyone knew the bump lingo. I sadly find myself saying some of them out loud, like RnP, etc.

It takes special people to be able to handle it over here, but at the same time I do wish that people would do some research about things before hand. Google is good for a few things.

No way. Half my IRL friends would get flamed on here with the stupid stuff they do.
(For example, friend of mine who is pregnant with their 2nd a posted a blog post about how annoyed she is that people didn't use her registry.)

This is why I think some of my friends should be here. They NEED to be flamed!

Some of the lingo I still am not sure of..but I do find myself when I go to write something on fb trying to use it!

I totally wish everyone bumped! Although yeah, a lot of them would get flamed. My next door neighbor has a 5 month old, and the other day she mentioned that he is so easy all day, he just hangs out and watches tv, and then he gets super fussy right before bed and she can't understand why. Seriously? You let your 5 month old watch tv all day? I couldn't even offer advice on the sleep thing because my brain almost exploded with the tv thing.

I just wish people did more research, even on here. There is some outdated info that still gets passed as truth on here, and I bought a sophie due to bump raves, then researched it and found lots of negative info.

Yup. Especially my cousin, some of the things that she does...wow!

And as for Sophie, I was an unbeliever on the whole 'sophie' obsession. However I bought the darm toy and it is H's favorite by far. She LOVES it. Please expand on the neg. reviews...

Ummmmm....are we visiting the same friend?? Same thing happened to me last week! Visiting a friend and every thing she thought may be wrong she wanted to call the pedi over!!! Indifferent

But, YES, I feel the same way!

Well, because DD is now 4 months, the solids information is something I have been paying particular attention too. It drives me nuts that people think they must start with cereal and that the one week or four day wait is the only right way to start solids. There is so much more, but those are the ones that come to mind right now.
