Think I have a UTI :( anyone getting those?

I haven't had a UTI since using condoms (allergic to spermacide I think...) and this feels a little different but still not right. I feel like someone is squeezing my bladder but then nothing... when i do go, my urine is cloudy. i am pretty sure i have one.

problem is my dr. wants me to go pee in a cup but they don't open until 9 and i work an hour away from them. i get out at 1 tomorrow so i will probably go then but it is just frusterating to have to wait!

do those symptoms sound familiar to anyone?

I'm no help because when I had one I had no idea until the nurse called and told me. My Dr. is also over an hour away but they will send orders to a lab that is close that I can go to, is that an noption for you?

I'd see about going to an urgent care center tonight. I just don't think that's something you should wait on, especially if your urine is already cloudy.

For the future I'd ask your doctor about taking a daily cranberry supplement. I used to get UTIs all the time, and now I take 2 cranberry pills each day and I haven't had one yet.

The sensation you are describing reminds me of when I got my two UTIs in high school. I didn't have cloudy urine, but everyone's different. It's easy to treat, so relax. It's annoying, but you'll be fine in no time.

I don't know if AZO Tablets are safe to use while pregnant, you can check that out when you get to the drug store. But at least if you test, you know whether you have one or not.

I've actually been having symptoms like this on and off for a few weeks. I don't have a UTI or VD or anything like that. It mostly become a problem at night time. The Dr. told me to stop drinking anything after 7 or 8 and cut out caffeine completely, and it's mostly gone away. I also read online that it is possible that the baby and uterus being so low could be up against the urethra and could be making expelling your bladder a little more difficult. I'm not sure if that's true, but the no caffeine and no drinking after 8 - but drinking a lot the rest of the day- has really helped.

I had a UTI when I was 5 weeks and I had burning when I urinated and everything. I went to the E.R because it got so bad and my doctors office wasnt open on sundays. When I talked to my doctor she said that UTIs arent good because your bladder cramps and can cause cramps in your uterus. If it isn't too bad you should be ok until your appointment though

same with me, no symptoms. but a friend of mine said there are at home screening type kits for uti's. maybe try that?
