Rosie's glider is still in her room, and we use it. Not a ton, but a lot of times at bedtime she likes to be rocked for a little while, and if she hurts herself or is upset, she'll ask to be rocked. We were planning on moving it into the baby's room, but I'm wondering whether we should just buy another one for the baby.
Rosie's chair is nice, but it doesn't have padded armrests so it wasn't really the most comfortable glider for feeding a baby. I would probably just get a cheaper one for the baby, nothing too fancy. WWYD?
Re: WWYD re: glider?
I would get a new one. Maybe one that could match living room furniture, that way you could put it in there when you were done using it for the new baby. Padded arms were a must when I was glider shopping! R still likes to be rocked when we read books at night, so he still has his too.
There is something so soothing about rocking, I bet you could get a lot of use out of a nice comfy one! We got ours with matching ottoman at Charlotte furniture. It was pretty reasonable!
Ditto this! It's definitely worth getting another one that's more comfortable. You know you'll get a ton of use out of it!!
