1-2 cups a day, before 3 pm. Mostly for my sake... the day I had 2 cups of coffee, a medium McCoke, and some Dr. Pepper, I couldn't sleep. That was terrible.
No coffee here, maybe 2 or 3 caffeinated drinks a week. I have never been one to drink much caffeine, maybe a cup of tea while working the nightshift if work gets slow. I do love sonic sweet tea though!

1-2 per day. I drink it right after I pump in the morning so it has as much time as possible to get out of my system. I think I read that only 1% of what you drink ends up in your breastmilk on kellymom.

Not much caffeine here, except the trace amouns in decaf coffee. Not just because I'm BFing though. I pretty much cut it out of my diet about 5 years ago. It was making me jittery and anxious.
It's really alarmist to just give it up. At least read the whole article!
"Caffeine is approved
by the American Academy of Pediatrics for use in breastfeeding
mothers. Per Medications
and Mother's Milk (Hale 2002, p. 100-102) caffeine is in
Lactation Risk Category L2 (safer); milk levels are quite low (0.06-1.5%
of maternal dose) and usually peak 1 hour after ingestion. One study
has indicated that chronic coffee drinking might decrease iron content
of breastmilk (Nehlig & Debry, 1994).
If your baby is sensitive to caffeine, it
will typically become less of an issue as baby gets older.
Newborns have a much harder time metabolizing caffeine than older
infants. Preterm or ill infants might also have more problems with
mom's caffeine intake.
A latte most mornings and then a diet coke at lunch. I think it's pretty silly when women give it up altogether in the name of BFing, but that's just me.
As much as I need to, to keep LO awake during the day so she sleeps better at night. haha just kidding! I really only like coffee shop drinks and they are too expensive to have everyday. So coffee only happens when I go to Safeway to go grocery shopping since there is a Starbucks inside. But I do have a can or 2 of soda a day.
I dropped my coffee habit when I found out I was pregnant and haven't had any since, but I occasionally drink a soft drink or tea with caffeine.

I can't link it but it's below, it says caffeine BFing info or something. My baby has been unusually fussy since I started drinking sodas again, I'm attributing it to the caffeine.
