2 mos shots - decreased appetite & how long for Tylenol?

Poor DS had his shots yesterday afternoon. What a rough night!  I'm exhausted.  Anyway, he's having a normal reaction. Crabby, sleepy but doesn't stay asleep as long as usual, wants to nurse but quickly loses interest.

He's eating about 1/2 (just one breast) each feeding since his shots. I did pump last night before bed. Think it's OK to just wait this out and continue feeding him on demand? I'm not engorged at all and I'm thinking he'll be feeling better by late today.

How long did you continue to give Tylenol after shots?  I thought the 2 doses I gave would be enough, but now I'm thinking I should give it to him till 24hrs are up.  Ped didn't say anything... he probaby thinks I remember this stuff ;)

    I did three doses since DD seemed really uncomfortable and much warmer to the touch than usual. I think it's ok to give an extra dose if you think your DS really needs it. If not, I'd hold off, and let him work it out on his own.

    PS - I think feeding on demand is the way to go.

    my pedi told me that lo should be back to normal within 24 hours if not then call the office. you can give tylenol every 4-6 hours so as long as you follow those guidelines then youll be fine with that aspect.
