I've been trying to be better at organizing stuff in the new house, but I need a ton of stuff! The Container Store is amazing, but I'm not going to be able to afford bins and stuff for toys, pantry items, linen closet, bedroom closets, garage, etc.. anytime soon buying it all from there! Where do you buy your organizin' stuff?
Bonus questions: Do you have a labelmaker? Love it? What kind is it?
Re: S/O Organizing - Where do you buy your bins?
Dollar stores.
The kids have milk crates in their rooms, Target and Walmart sell colored ones for $4 or $5 dollars each, something like that.
DH just spent $10 and made me these drawer organizers for my birthday.
DH came into our marriage with a label-maker. I never would have bought such a thing as sharpies/permanent markers work fine on boxes, but the label-maker is nice for labeling if you want a neater/more finished look.
DH said the label-maker was super cheap (it was on sale), but that the label tape was a little expensive.
We have what I assume is an earlier version of this (since I don't think DH would have spent $90 on a label-maker):

ikea bins are pretty cheap and have easy on/off lids too.
I'm redoing the play room and am using photos of what should be in each bin to stick on the outside. That way, it's the bin not a shelf he has to remember.
this is only kiddo help
but still ikea is great for cheap bins
I have a basic dynamo label maker, but it's meh.

Target, IKEA and surprisingly LOWES
I like fabric covered boxes and especially ones that can collapse.
