Update - First OB appt

So my fears have been squelched once again! I really hope that this time I can actually relax!!!
Baby looked great.  She didn't even bother trying with the doppler and went straight to an u/s.  He/she was moving around in there and it was the most precious thing ever.  Baby measured to be due on 1/25 and my due date is 1/24 so everything is right on schedule!  We saw the heartbeat, but she didn't check the rate... that was my only disappointment but I didn't even think about it til I was driving back to work! She must've just forgot. 

She said my cervix was nice and long for having a LEEP so the scares of having an incompetent cervix have been put at ease... at least for now :) She did say though, that if at any point I start feeling a lot of pressure or pain, to call and they'll check it out.

She called in a prescription for Zofran since I've lost 3 pounds since my nurse visit, but I think I'm only going to take it on those really really horrible days!

We also discussed the NT scan and I think we're going to go ahead and do it.  Knowledge is power... even if we won't go with an amnio or change the outcome of this pregnancy.  She said if something comes back "positive", that they'll just look more closely at our anatomy scan.  My husband has an Uncle with Down's and I think that's what put us into the "ok, let's do it" mindset. 

So..... everything is good to go for now! I think I'm ready to finally tell work :)

    Oh, I forgot to mention that I have to do the Glucola test in the next few days.  Since my son was 9 lb 11 oz, they want to be sure that I don't develop GD... so I'll be doing it early in my pregnancy and then again at 7 months... what fun!
