It really gives me a new appreciation for those who have miscarried in the past; I don't see how you cope, especially after going through the trenches with IF. Luckily for us baby B looks great and is on track for now.

I know exactly how you feel. We lost identical twins at 9 weeks during Kate's pregnancy. It is such a mixed bag of emotions - devastated for your loss but thankful you still have one baby holding on.
Let yourself feel upset, sad, depressed, mad. You have lost a child - your grief doesn't need to be masked by the fact that you are still pregnant with the surviving twin.
You pain will subside - it takes time - but it will lessen. It will never go away though.
I'm very sorry. I have never been there but I can only imagine what a struggle to be devastated about baby A and happy about baby B at the same time. I hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful.

Twin loss is such a complicated thing to process thru. You're so grief stricken for the one you lost and SO grateful for the one still thriving. It's tough to feel both those emotions at the same time.
There are several of us here who've lost a twin so please reach out if you want to talk more about it.
Hugs to you and your angel baby.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
I am so, so sorry. Glad Baby B is continuing to look good!
"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."
Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. At the same time, relieved for you that Baby B is doing well.
Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!
I'm sorry. I know the feeling - it's so bittersweet and hard to wrap feelings around sometimes.
My thoughts are with you. (and FWIW, it's "ok" to mourn the loss and be happy at the same time. I had a really hard time with that once upon a time....)
