We were just sitting on the couch and LO grabbed his paci and this was the outcome!! LOL He has been able to put it in correctly before, but for whatever reason, this way was more appealing today!!!

And...is anyone else's LO disgusted by the texture of the mesh feeder? At least that's what I'm assuming is the case. He puts literally EVERYTHING in his mouth, but when presented with the mesh feeder, he totally turns his head and cringes. I tried watermelon, and he took it for a second then wanted nothing to do with it. Tonight I tried banana (which he likes as a puree) and YUCK FACE. WDYT?
Re: Learning to put own paci in...FAIL! PiP And mesh feeder ?
That picture is ADORABLE! What a sweetie!
Yes, Charlie made the yuck face when we first gave him the feeder. What works for him is if we mash the banana (or whatever) and make it push through the mesh a little, then hand it to him. He tastes the banana and ignores the plastic feeder mesh.

ha! O started doing that with the paci when he started teething. it must feel better on the gums or something. we just got rid off all the pacis though...thank goodness!
as for the mesh feeder...O loved it at first, then all of a sudden he started turning his head like your LO. i havent bothered with it since. oh well.
That's how my kid does it. He only gets it in the correct way once in a while. Whatever, if he's happy, that's all that matters! ha!
I haven't tried the mesh feeder yet, so I'm not sure how B will react to it. If he is anything like me, he'll probably be grossed out by it. The concept of the mesh feeder just makes me cringe. But I will sacrifice my feelings and try it for him. We'll see what happens!
LOL! That pic is great!!
Sorry, I don't have any advice about the mesh feeder.
