Success after IF

XP: terrible pain after trigger?

I had an IUI cancelled last week due to over response. I have PCOS, so to avoid cysts I did trigger and then obviously didnt DTD.

On the day I triggered I had 12-15 mature sized follicles, but my E2 was only 800.

I triggered 6 days ago and ovulated 4 days ago (must have been overnight on Saturday/ Sunday) and the pain is *horrific*. On Sunday night I could barely walk. The bloating has gone down some, but the terrible tenderness is still there and its now joined by an awful sharp stabbing pain around my right ovary area.

I have done cycles before, of IVF and IUI, and this has never happened. My RE said OHSS wasnt even a concern because of my low E2, but this isnt normal.

Has anyone had the same thing happen? How long did it take for the pain to go away?

Thanks.

Not to scare you but please call your RE. This is how I felt after an IVF that resulted in a torsed ovary. I waited too long and lost the ovary.

I feel like that after I ovulate on IUIs.  I was like that after my ERs too, but thought it was the retrieval itself - it wasn't.

Even if you'r enot at risk for OHSS, drink gatorade and take it easy.
