S/O Holiday Dress

Why is it that almost all of the Christmas/Holiday dresses that I see are short sleeve or sleeveless. I know there are many places that have sunny warm weather all year round, but what about those of us that are freezing our butts off in December? I certainly won't be going sleeveless for Christmas, so why would I want DD to?

I was just wondering the same thing! A cardi would work, but it would cover up the cute dress...so what's the point?

This is the dress from Carters. It's actually little white flowers on it, not snowflakes, so it can be used again for non-Holiday occasions.

It is short sleeve but it is the cutest one I could find and really the only one I really liked. She'll wear tights with it and a white cardigan over it for Christmas Day and you'll still be able to see the dress. It is cold here in Ohio too but I mainly got it for our poctures and I think she'll be fine without a sweater for an hour or so while the pics are being taken. I couldn't resist the little mary janes with the bow either that go with it! BTW - The Hanna Anderson catalog had a lot of warm dresses - long sleeve and sweater material.
