We just got back from California. Now DH is going to Boston for work in August and wants us all to go. I do.not.want.to. It's 2 long flights (5 hours each), a ton of $$, eating out for another week and he will be busy the whole time!
I think he really wants us to go, but I've been to Boston and seen the sights and I know he will have a better time meeting up with his old Army buddies if we aren't there. He knows I don't want to go, but wants to "revisit" the issue tonight when he gets home.

If I had DH with me to help with the kids, I would consider it. But it sounds like you dont really want to go. If I didnt want to go...then no I wouldnt.
BUT- if you do come, we should get together!!!

Nope. As pp had said, Boston to Hawaii, possibly. Hawaii to Boston, nope.
Business trips are tricky. Last year DH wanted us to go from Atlanta to Denver. There was no way I was going to do that with 20 month olds. Now I'll probably go to DC this year, but it's close enough we can drive and they are much more manageable by myself. Plus, we've got friends and family in the area so I might leave him at his meeting and go visit people.

Nope - I wouldn't even do Boston to Hawaii
With one kid, maybe, 2 kids, no way! Maybe when they are older.
There is a lot to see here in Beantown, though, so if you do end up coming, I could give suggestions that you may not have already seen!
