Success after IF

Anyone remember me from 2004-2008?

I had my beautiful daughter in 2008 after  6 IVF's with UI. My delivery was a disaster and I nearly died from placenta accreta and had 2 surgeries after. I did a lot of testing over the next 2 years and even tried a few FET's but they were all cancelled because the delivery/surgeries left me too scarred up to ever carry another baby safely.

My friend is an angel and last year offered to be our surrogate to give our frozen embies a chance. We had our transfer last week, and she is going in for her beta tomorrow but has been getting BFP's at home. My daughter turns 3 tomorrow - I am so nervous and so excited!

I haven't been on here in so long - most of the people I recognize now have 2 little ones. So happy to see so many of you with beautiful babies in your siggies!

  • First low beta - 13...I think it's a chemical. Here we go again! SOO much easier this time around with my awesome friend and beautiful daughter to keep my spirits up!
  • Not specifics, but I remember your screen name! Congratulations, very exciting!! (And welcome back. :)

ETA: Ooops, didn't read before posting. Sorry about the low beta. How many dpt is she?

  • It's funny seeing all these names and remembering old siggie pics - even though I didn't post a lot, I must have spent a lot of time on here back then! Crystal - we put back 2 6-day blasts 8 days ago.  One was expanded, one was right behind. She isn't bleeding or cramping, so she is holding out hope, but I have been down this road before and it doesn't look good :(
