Well...it's a little less a recipe than it is a guideline.
- Chicken breast, cut up into strips or use tenderloins
- Flour
- Olive oil
- Minced garlic
- Soy sauce
- Balsamic vinegar
- Brown sugar
Heat olive oil in skillet, saute garlic for 1-2 minutes. Dredge chicken in flour, then place into skillet with olive oil and garlic. Cook through, flipping to get both sides brown. Combine equal parts brown sugar, soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar. Lower heat and pour sauce over chicken, turning to get the chicken coated with the sauce.
I used two chicken breasts (I cut it into little pieces rather than strips) and 1/2 cup of the sugar, soy sauce and balsamic and served it over rice.
Re: Easy, delicious dinner recipe (even my kid ate it!)
My son is super picky and he ate it up! My daughter looked at it, said ewwww and started making a gagging sound.
yum thanks for sharing! My dd just ate the "fried rice" I made tonight so there is hope she'll eat this as well!
