I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. Can I plead pregnancy insanity?! Things really have been crazy around here lately...

I know I updated that at my 36 week appt almost 2 weeks ago, I had lots of fluid around the baby. I got the official US report last Fri, and my OB isn't too concerned & is still okay w/my attempt to VBAC. The fluid is borderline (aka: mild polyhydramnios), but the abdominal measurements were on dates. The head measured a little small (still okay), but the arm & leg bones measured >95th percentile! So I'm gestating a long, lean baby! I was really stressed that my induction would get moved up due to more medical complications, but my OB reassured me that it was fine last week. I still have so much to do, and I REALLY am hoping I can hold out until after July 1st, so I don't have to use any PTO that would take away from my leave. ::Crosses fingers that I can still hold out::.

So we're trying to wrap-up some projects at the farm while I can still be of some help. We're thinking that this weekend will get it all squared away, and I'll probably feel much better after it's done.

Then, I got into a fender bender Monday morning after I got off work. It was a 3-car accident, and occurred while I was sitting at a stop light not even 5 minutes after I left work! A drunk man came over the hill where the light was & rear-ended the car behind me. Then he didn't want to stay for the cops, but thankfully, his ex-wife saw he was pulled over in an accident & boxed him in. Needless to say, he got arrested, I had to go BACK to work for monitoring for 3.5 hours, so I could be cleared to come back to work that night, and now I am called to go to court on Friday to be a witness for the state. Hopefully, I don't go into labor before then either!! I have a call in to the Sherriff's office to talk with them about it.

So, I've never felt cramps before the accident (I didn't hurt in labor until I hit transition w/Trevor), but now I have experienced them & I'm hoping I have progressed at my next appt. I was 1cm last Friday.

Oh, and if I'm not delivererd before, I have two weeks left from tomorrow! Squee!! I'm excited, but super nervous!

OMG. I'm glad you're alright, and that the ex saw and boxed him in before he could get away. Fvcking drunk drivers make my blood boil.

I'll be sending your ute successful VBAC vibes! Oh and I think another boy for you.

OMG. Thank God you're okay, I'm so sorry! I hate drunk drivers, it makes me so freaking angry. Glad they got him, hopefully they'll put him away for a long time.

Me too! I realize it could have been a million times worse. I thanked G*d that I was soooo lucky.

At first I thought maybe TB starred out God. I am glad everything was okay! Have you been able to use your Elfster gift yet?

1/2 of the gift.

I'm waiting until I get all my "baby" gifts to see what I want or need for the gc. But yes, I love the spatulas!

And hahaha about TB thought. It's just a habit, I guess.
