But it costs too much. Ugh, I hate pumping. I've had to add two extra pumps a day to try and keep up with what DS eats at daycare and I still can barely fill them. I have maybe 100 oz in the freezer but am afraid once I start using them then my body will never meet the demand I have. Remind me again why do I put up with being milked 4 times a day on top of breastfeeding. And yes I know I am lucky to produce milk at all but that doesn't make it any easier.
Re: I want to throw my pump out the window
It sucks. I'm right there with ya.
Have you tried all the tricks to increase your supply? (drinking more water, fenugreek, etc?)
I'm right there with you. I pump 5 times a day and get 9-10 ounces total and my stash is nonexistent. My dog destroyed my breast pump last week and I was so tempted to just buy a can of formula.
I don't know what your philosophy is, but I just tell myself that I'm going to keep going until it's preventing me from having fun with DD. Happy mom=happy baby

Try setting some goals for yourself, like "I will make it to 4 months" and then when you get there, "I'll make it to 5 months".
I don't take fenugreek on a regular basis; just when my supply seems to dip. I take 2 in the am, and 2 at lunch, and generally see a difference at my next pumping session (not huge, but enough to warrant taking it).
I also baked up a giant batch of lactation cookies last week (just google for a recipe with oats, brewer's yeast and flaxseed) that I have a few of every day.
If you can't keep up with your LO, it's not the end of the world to switch to formula, but if he's having tummy issues, you may have to try a few different kinds, so GL.
