Yesterday, my car wouldn't start. When we first bought it we had the same issue... It ended up being the computer. But it was under warranty then, not now. We got it working, but we're not sure for how long. We basically reset the computer.
Today, I was sitting in the doctors office waiting for my follie check when the receptionist announces "Anyone have an orange car? Someone just hit it." They backed right up into me!! Wonderful! So now I have to deal with getting an estimate and all that jazz.
So I finally walk into my appointment and tell the u/s tech I'm not expecting much with the way my luck has been going. But... low and behold I have a 22mm follie!!! So she gave me my trigger shot! My lining was only 8.2. That's good, right?
I just hope this is the start of some good luck.
ETA: This is the 3rd cycle in a row that i'll be ovulating from my right, (that I know of). That's a little odd, isn't it?
Re: Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good, right?
Did they total your car? If so that could be a blessing, then you won't have to worry about fixing the computer issues.
Great news about the follie.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!

No. Just a little damage to the rear driverside door. Nothing too bad, and even if it didn't get fixed we could live with it. The estimate came to $978 though!!! She was thinking of paying for it out of pocket, until she heard the estimate.

GL on your cycle.
BTW, it isn't odd. Some ovaries are more dominate than others. It sounds like your right ovary is the dominate one. So expect more O's from that one.

No IUI yet. We have on more cycle of no IUI. I also think i'm going to switch to Femara next cycle since I was not responding to clomid this one. She said she'd switch me over at any time I wanted.

Glad to hear it isn't odd! I was very shocked when she said it was on my right and there was nothing on my left... again.

I am MUCH happier on Femara compared to the Clomid. Hardly any side effects but I responded about the same on both. I hope you don't need it though! I'll cross everything for you.

Oh gosh - the computer and the car issues are terrible!! What bad luck indeed! But, so glad that you a mature follie and could trigger. That was a nice surprise. I only tried clomid once and had no success with it. My RE won't use femara, but there are lots of ladies who had great luck on that.
I really, really hope this is it for you sweetie!!!

Yep. My RE said the same. (Apparentlly my right is dominate too...for all the good it does me). I really hope all the bad luck was leading up to good luck for you!
PAL/PGAL Welcome
I'm sorry about your bad day. I can understand your frustration!
But that's great about your follie. I've done 3 cycles with the RE with Clomid and trigger shot. (#1 was TI, and #s 2&3 were IUI). In each cycle, except for the last, I only O'd on my left side. The last cycle I O'd on both sides. While I may be wrong, I attribute that one to acupuncture. GL!!!! I hope this is your cycle.

So sorry about the car shiz, I hate cars! I hope you get it all working soon. Good news on the follie though!!!! With all that crap you had to deal with, this better be your cycle!
PS - I don't think it is odd that you are Oing from the same side each month, according to TCOYF you don't necessarily O from a different side each month.

That is some crazy luck you've been having. If I were you, I would say your laptop was in the car when it got hit and the impact broke the screen!
Hooray for your follie!! GL!!
On both of my IVF's I only had action on the right side as well. The RE seemed to think this was common.
