I would like DD to come visit me and the baby when he arrives in October. I know it is really early, but I am concerned that she will not be allowed to visit due to it being flu season. Does anyone know if there are restrictions on toddlers visiting?
I had DD#1 in January and DD#2 in mid-March...both at St. Vincents. They allowed children to visit both times. The only place I saw restrictions was the NICU.
Allie ~ 01/26/09 ~ 7 lbs, 9 oz ~ 20.75 in.
& Amelia ~ 03/16/11 ~ 8 lbs, 1 oz ~ 21 in.
I had my son in January, and while I didn't ask that specifically, I never heard of any restrictions about that at the time. I remember hearing about some places being cautious when the swine flu came around a couple winters ago, but I think it should be okay during regular flu season. But, they have a dial a nurse number, if you call and ask I imagine they can tell you the standard policies.
