I just read a post on 3rd trimester about a girl who is 34 weeks and is wearing a size 0/1 right now. Am I mean because I hate her?? I couldn't even think about squeezing my fat butt into anything except sweatpants or maternity jeans right now. Not that I am complaining about gaining weight or anything, but jeez, who can wear a 0/1 when they are 34 weeks pregnant??
Re: Am I real mean??
Who can wear a 0/1 when they aren't 34 weeks pregnant?! lol
ETA: She must be carrying veeeerry high
"What did my fingers do before they held you? What did my heart do with it's love?"
HA HA!! Definately not me.
That is a bit crazy, who knows?? But, I completely understand- I try to skip posts like that.
I don't think that pregnancy is a time for body competitions or being proud of not gaining any weight when you are a low/normal start weight.
I'm in a shiity mood tonight, so really- I just hate her too.
Weight gain and loss in pregnancy and whether you can wear your pre-pregnancy jeans at the end of third trimester is not something that should be considered a competition. If you feel like you have to talk about sh!t like that on boards, you probably have a low self-esteem anyway.
1. She's lying
2. Something is wrong and she is not gaining enough weight
I wouldn't be jealous of her. She is seeking attention obviously.
This.
To be honest, I'm having problems gaining weight, and it's actually a serious issue. If she's bragging about it, she's digging her own grave...But it's not really something to be proud of. I'm facing some really horrible complications if I don't pack on some more pounds, and she will too.
Not something to be jealous about. Something to be sad about.
IDK, but that smells like total BS to me. Seriously, who goes waving that around in people's faces?
How does a girl that size even get pregnant in the first place?! I find it annoying when super skinny girls get on the boards asking questions to the essence of "am I weird? It's just, I'm soooo tiny, and yada yada.." Are you legitimately asking for advice on your eating disorder, want to know good ways to gain weight to ensure a healthy child, or do you just want everyone to be aware of the fact that you are the skinniest girl on the board? I'm small too (although nowhere near that small), but there's no point to posting my stats. We're on here to share the experience of pregnancy and motherhood, not to compare our bodies like the high school cheer team.
One fact we might well console ourselves with: those 0/1 hips are going to have to let the baby out, just like ours will.
