chicken allergy

My daughter has an intolerance/allergy to chicken. We are not sure which it is at this point each tme she eats it she has an awful diaper rash. To the point it takes at least a week to clear up even lathering with but paste. She is also allergic to strawberries. Her 18 month appontment is in a two weeks is there anything i should push the dr to do or ask further. She has a similar reaction to turkey but not as severe.

if she's allergic to chicken, make sure she's good with eggs. My son is allergic to eggs and for a while he couldn't have chicken. There is a shared protein in both.

My first question would be.. is she allergic or intolerant? if allergic -get an epipen asap. if intolerant, can she handle organic chicken or just all chicken

perhaps also have the allergist test her for the top 8 since she's also allergic to strawberries. Have him test her for other fruits, tomatoes.. pretty much the citric stuff.

I 100% agree! I would ask for an epipen even for an intolerance. My DD has a long list of intolerances. She used to eat grapes with no issues, then bam, one day she ate a grape and instantly started swelling, dark hives all over her face neck and chest. Thankfully benedryl was enough but after that they gave us an epipen. Allergies change and it's good to be prepared because you just never know.
