Terrible hip/back pain...

The past 2 days I've been having horrible pain in my left hip/back area. Its like a nagging pulling/stabbing feeling that won't go away no matter what position I am in. My left and foot area seem to fall asleep rather easily compared to normal also. I can't sleep tonight because it has gotten so bad, I'm actually out on the couch because I don't want to keep DH up. Any idea why I have such bad pain and what I can do for it? It's going to be a long couple months if I can't get this under control.

Hmm, sciatic nerve pain? Try some pelvic rocks or a couple prenatal yoga moves to get things shifted around. Good luck!!

I am calling the chiropractor today, my lower back is killing me and sleep is not fun.

I am also looking for a short yoga dvd that I might enjoy.

Ouch. I've been having more pain in my back and sides at night. I take a Tylenol on the mornings I wake up sore, and have used the heating pad a few times (safe on a medium or low setting, especially if it's not directly on your stomach).
