Next week I'm going for an initial consult with another RE after DH and I had a negative experience at the first RE we met. However, I already have scheduled with the first RE my 3 day menses bloodwork on Thursday and my saline sonogram test a day before I meet with the other RE. I want to get these tests overwith though I don't like the doctor.
Will I have a problem getting these test results forwarded from one RE to the other?
Re: 3 Day Menses Bloodwork & Saline Sonogram Test
I've had no trouble getting copies of my medical records and I've done it twice now (moving to my 3rd RE tonight). You will probably have to sign a release and they "may' charge you a fee. So far I haven't had to pay.

I always have them send the records to me, rather than the other doctor. That way I have them and can make copies for whoever might need them in the future. One clinic made me pay photocopying charges (they didn't charge if it was sent to another physician) and one clinic didn't.
Just make sure you follow up after you request your records to make sure they do it. Good luck.

My RE required new bloodwork to be completed because they like to use their own lab. They say that each lab has different test sensitivities, and they are able to compare their own testing results since they know their own lab. I was able to transfer my previous results but was asked to redo everything (except HSG and vaginal u/s)
ETA: You could call the new clinic and ask what their policy is.
