FF'ers please come in...desperate for ideas/advice

DD is so far different then DS is everyway. So I feel like a mom for the first time again!

We've got DD on Good Start Gentle. I am wondering if it's not filling/thick enough for her. She's barely making it 2 hours to eat. She's up to 3.5 to 4 oz.(and it takes at least an hour to feed her because she just wants to sleep) I'm just so exhausted because DH is not able to help much as he's preparing for a deployment. I just remember with DS we started him on Enfamil Gentlease and ended up on Enfamil AR. The rice starch really satisfied his hunger. She's not sleeping very soundly. She doesn't cry like she has colic or AR, she just is rooting A LOT, and most of the time a paci doesn't suffice.

DS was 9.1lb when he was born, DD 8.4lbs. They aren't THAT different in size.

Any advice? how many weeks until your LO started going longer? I am just exhausted and we just moved here (thank you Marine Corps) and I have no friends or family to help. So you ladies are it for now! TIA

Eating every two hours for a brand new newborn is very common. H is 6 weeks old and on Similac Advanced and goes three hours in between feedings during the day. GL

My DS is on Good STart and eats from 2-3 hrs apart. When he was about a month old he ate every 2 hrs for a few days. She should space it apart in a few days.

I change DSs diaper if he falls asleep during a feeding.

2 hrs at that age sounds about right. But if you need to keep her awake to eat, undress her. And if she still sleeps, have a cool washcloth handy to rub on her.
