AW Finally had a baby!

My baby girl was finally born June 14th. Exactly 2 weeks late!

I went into labor on my own rather than being induced which is what I wanted, but I still ended up with an emergency cesarian after her HR dropped to the 50's and wouldn't rebound due to my contractions being to close together. After they gave medication to slow the contractions, her HR jumped to 170's and didn't slow down, at this point I was only 4 cm dilated after well over 24 hours of labor.

Her cord was wrapped around her neck and was tightening with every contraction. Poor little thing has a busted blood vessel in her eye She is healthy and perfect and I am so in love, she was well worth the wait!

I didn't have the labor experience I was hoping for but we are EBFing and it is going so well right now (finger crossed it continues) that I just call it a tradeoff!
