Doula Recommendations?

How do you decide on a doula? There is such a long list on the DONA international site, I don't know where to start.

We used Stacey Marshall for our birth doula. She was a great advocate and kept me moving during labor. She also worked really well with my OB. https://www.mothertreebirth.com/who_doulas_staceyb.html

Joan Bryant is fabulous, and she teaches the birth class at Kaiser Sunnyside.

I second the recommendation for Mothertree. Our doula was Leah, and she was fantastic. Mothertree has a variety of doulas. You can meet with a few, and choose who you are most comfortable with. Also, if you are looking for birthing classes we truly enjoyed the series offered by Mothertree.
