need help stripping

Okay experts, I need help stripping my dipes. Specifically the pockets, our BGs have been making Q break out in a rash. Is there anything I need to know about stripping BGs or FBs? Also, I have a portable apartment-sized washer that is 1.5 cubic feet. I have no idea how much vinegar to use in the wash. Is there a chart somewhere I can refer to, or has anyone done this in a smaller washer?

TIA!

I'd use a squirt of blue dawn instead of vinegar.

  • First you grab the pole, then you squat  :) tee, hee, tee hee. Yes, I should be more mature.

I would use blue dawn. I would scrub them in the sink and then do a regular wash cycle.

Hahaha guess I could have been more specific in the title ;-)

Thanks, I will use the dawn. Score since I'm all outta vinegar and happen to have blue dawn on hand!

  • I used Blue Dawn and got nice, fresh diapers. I did it about 4-5 months ago for the first time and may do it again soon for my overnight B4 fitteds and microfiber.

Also what portable washer do you have? Hubby and I live in apt and plan on cloth diapering and are currently looking at getting a portable washer just for diapers.

(Will be first time mom this year)
