4 Weeks PP

I can't believe my DS is turning 4 weeks tomorrow. Today is the first day home alone with two kids as DH went back to work today. It was so nice having him home for the time and can't wait for the 2nd half of his FMLA leave (Aug/Sept) so we can have a nice family vacation.

DS is a gassy guy, always sharting (poor thing). He is EBF and completely different than DD. She hardly cried or spit up and this guy always spits up, well at least every other day a tiny bit. I guess boys are different. He HATES his bouncer and loves the cuddle pillow or swing, oh loves his baby carrier too. We've gone for a ton of walks or more like Hikes, lol and he loves the movement. 

I was extrememly swollen from my c/s and tubes being tied (more like cut, lol) and I finally lost the weight from pregnancy (14lbs) plus 10 pounds of extra water weight. You have to love breast feeding because I'll continue to loose weight, yeah! It's nice to have my ankles back!

Off to attempt the market all by myself, lol

    I'm impressed that after only 4 weeks, even though you say you're extremely swollen, you attempt 'hikes' and lots of walks with LO.  I only started using the carriage 2 weeks ago (I also had c/s) I must be lazy.  I'm also impressed that BF is allowing you to lose weight (I lost 30 pounds after delivery- mostly water weight but I still have at least 10 to go) BF hasn't helped me yet with that.  LO is also very gassy, which I thought was only common in formula fed baby, glad to hear she isn't the only one.

    I am too, lol. With DD I lost all of my weight 2 weeks PP, then lost another 20+ BFing, which was fantastic. I "think"its from BFing...but could be from the hikes, lol. I am the laziest but with DH home for almost 4 weeks we were on the GO from day one. I am exhausted and recovering now that he's back to work, lol.

    Glad everything is going so well and BFing is working out for you. It didn't work for me so I was EPing for a few months, and I still have to lose 5 lbs.

    funny -- DS was also WAY more gassy than DD.  Also spit up more.
