Reality Check~

So, my whole pregnancy I?ve had a 5 ladies who were also pregnant, but due ahead of me .  I frequently spoke to these ladies often regarding symptoms, what to expect, etc and went to them for advice.

Two of these ladies had healthy babies early May and both arrived early via C-section.  In the last 2 weeks the other 3 have all had their babies.  2 of the mom?s who were 9 weeks ahead of me, both delivered their LO?s at 38 weeks both babies were healthy and just shy of 6 pounds.  Then this morning a good friend of mine who was due mid July had her little boy, 5lbs 12 ounces and 20 inches long.  Isn?t it crazy to think that some of us will be delivering our babies soon?  Where did the time go?  September really isn?t that far away!  All these babies being born, is making me very anxious to meet my little guy.  However, I?m not rushing anything J

    i was just thinking the same thing as i was calling the pre-registration office at the hospital.  it's getting a little too real for me.

    I was totally thinking that as DH and I were trying to figure out when we were going to have time to change the office into the second baby room and we started marking out weekends we have weddings or have to be out of town and we only have 4 open weekends from now until due date!!!!!!!  That is a scary, scary number!

    Ugh, if only I could get DH to realize this....he says there's still SO MUCH TIME.  Really honey?  You'd think he'd know since 2 of our friends that had babies last year were 4 and 5 weeks early, plus he knows I was 2 weeks early with DD. 

    Did I mention he has yet to start cleaning out the spare room/his office so the baby has a place to stay!  Zip it!Angry

    I also have three friends all due before me; one was due Aug 3rd - she's actually having a c-section RIGHT NOW (September2007, from PAIF), and two others both in July.... then its me...

    Yikes... i feel like I was waiting so long to get here and now that it's here - I want to slow time down!

    It's so scary and exciting. Obviously we hope all of our babies stay inside babies for as long as they need to be in there, but obviously some of us are at least going to have August babies (especially those with early Sept due dates). Umm... August is only a few weeks away! Aaack! This board is about to change dramatically! So exciting.

    DD was 4 weeks early. All I can think about is how if this one comes early like her sister (hopefully she'll cook a little longer but I still worry) then she will be here in 8 weeks. And I'm completely unprepared this time around. I don't have anything except for baby clothes.

    I was thinking about this too--because of our travel schedules, showers OOT, vacations, etc., we only have 4 more weekends where we'll be at home and able to get the house ready before I'm full term.  I also realized today I only have 3 waxes left (max) before we're going to meet LO!  (Yeah, I realized that in the middle of a wax)...scary to think about, but also REALLY exciting!!!
