I'm afraid we have a mouse in the house. How can I get rid of it and others that might possibly be around? And is there any natural way to repel them from coming back?
When you say EF, does that mean no killing, or just no poison?
If you just want to avoid poisons/exterminators, I have used 'humane' mouse traps in the past. I tried every type of mouse trap, but the mice were too smart for them. Finally I borrowed my mom's humane traps, they have food on the inside end, and are tipped up. When the mice goes inside for the food, the trap tips back and the door closes on them. I was so shocked the first time I opened it, I totally didn't think it would work!
Anyhow, I then took the mice I caught and drowned them. I totally don't have a problem with this, but if you do get your DH to do the dirty work. I didn't have kids then, but now I like that no little fingers/toes could get caught pinched in these kinds of traps.
