I'm new here! 2WW and a cold

Hello Everyone! I'm new here, just signed up today.

I supposedly ovulated on June 12 (according to ovulation kit). This past Saturday I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffy head. My DH actually mentioned to me that it could be a sign of conception. I had never heard of that, but a google search sent me here. I saw that other people have experienced colds when they conceived. Have any of you had this experience? And how do you have the patience to wait the two weeks to test?

    Welcome to the board.

    A stuffy head can be a symptom but it can also be a cold.

    Welcome.  As the PP said, it could also just be a cold.  I have gotten summer colds and they suck, but they happen. 

    If you really think you might be pregnant, I'd say test on Sunday.  You are only about 9 DPO if you did ovulate according to the OPK.  9DPO is a little early and Sunday would be about 14 DPO for you.  Lots of luck!

    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    Thank you both! I have other symptoms, but they're typical before my period. They just started earlier than normal. We'll see. Thanks again!

    I woke up on Sunday with a sore throat and stuffy nose also, still have it today! It would be SO much easier if there were some clear cut signs of being pregnant!!
