Hello everyone,
At the hospital my DH and I plan to deliver at, we park in the parking garage and walk down a super long halway before taking the elevator upstairs. We stay in the labor and delivery room until baby is born and then we are moved into a recovery room. I had planned to pack only one bag because I didnt want DH to have to carry multiple bags down the hallway and I don't know how helpful I'll be while in labor.
However, we're taking a lamaze class and the teacher is determined that we pack all of our toiletry items, along with an activity, focal point, and sour candies into another bag (lamaze bag) She's having us bring our bags to class wo we can show them to everyone else.
Do I really need 2 seperate bags? Can't I just put all of my things into one bag and make it easier on everyone? How many bags are you bringing?
Re: Why 2 bags?
One bag is enough. You really don't want to haul that much stuff when you're going home with the baby. Plus, hauling it from room to room is a pain. We made that mistake with our first child. Second, we learned our lesson. : )
My bag and camera bag is all we are taking.

This! It's like, we left with a bag and came home with a store! It was horrible having to carry all that stuff plus a baby back to the car when you are released. K.I.S.S is my new philosophy!
