POAS confusion

So I couldn't wait for my beta tomorrow, and the hpt was calling my name a bit too loudly this morning. So I took it. I am 11dp IUI today, and took a digital EPT. It came back "pregnant" I am being cautiously optomisitc and a bit mad at myself that I took it so early and didn't just wait for my beta. I didn't test out the trigger so I don't know if that was out of my system or not. Could it have come back positive because of the trigger not being out of my system or could this really be my BFP? I haven't told DH anything about it yet because I don't want to get his hopes up since I was the one that decided to test (he was already at work). Any clarification you can give will help me keep my sanity for the day. Otherwise I wait for the beta tomorrow. Thanks!

I don't think I've heard of a trigger lasting that long, so I'm going to give you a big congrats!!!

The longest I've heard about it being detected is 9dpiui. I have tested 5dpiui and the trigger's already been gone. So....Congrats!!!!

you will always find someone that says "well I did the trigger and it stayed in my system for 14 days. good luck."

but honestly, especially if you used ovidrel, and even probably if you used noveral (or any other10,000 mIu) those digitals arent qutie as sensitive as frers....i would say it's a sold bfp. do you have a BBT? i would take your temp tomorrow morning when you wake up, just to see if it is super high! but i think you are KU.

Update: I called the Dr. and they moved my beta to today, so I just got back to work. They will call me this afternoon to confirm what it is. I did call DH on the way, because I he has been there every step of the way so far, I didn't want to be alone on the info this time. He sounded like he might be in shock. I do believe I will wait to tell him what the beta is until he gets home though. That way it can still be a little bit of a surprise. As we aren't telling anyone until after our first u/s, I was bursting at the seams to tell him. I'll keep you all updated! Thank you so much!
