Intro- New to Twin Cities

Hello Minneapolis bumpies, I am new to Apple Valley and am excited to find this board. I just wanted to introduce myself, as this is my first LO and I am pretty clueless.

    I am due on Halloween and just found out we are having a girl! We keep hearing what a great place the Cities are to raise kids, so we are super excited :)

    Welcome!

    I just moved to the Cities a few months back and specifically to a home on the Lakeville/Apple Valley border...so welcome new neighbor!

    You will find everyone on here very nice and helpful. The whole "Minnesota nice" culture rings true most days.

    My first LO is due August 3. Let me know if you'd like to gtg for casual "drinks" or something between now and then...as I understand how difficult it is to meet people when you're in a transition. Eventually the mom's get togethers will make sense once our LO's arrive! :)
