coconut milk = laxative?

we use coconut milk as a milk alternative, but someone made the comment that it's a laxative.... she doesn't drink a ton of it still, so I'm not seeing any diarrhea, but was wondering if I should switch to something else because of this.

    my son gets condensed coconut milk mixed in with his rice milk daily and we've never had an issue.

    Breastmilk is a mild laxative, and that's no reason to switch. I don't think I'd worry about an asymptomatic possiblilty.

    I've heard that as well, but I never had issues when I had limited quantities of coconut milk (in cereal, etc.).
